Thanks for checking out my Portfolio!
I've been gaming all my life. I love satisfying mechanics that push mastery, and enjoy seeing my creativity in a game come together on screen.
My biggest design influences are Assassin's Creed, Sonic Adventure and its Chao gardens, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Jet Set Radio, and Dark Souls.
And I'm inspired everyday by all the indies evolving old concepts, experiences and taking memorable risks.
I find myself spending a lot of my free time analyzing games and consuming game analysis content. I can't help but to fill out game-play mechanics for the loosest of concepts. And I love getting stuck in design problems.
Games let you venture through your wildest fantasies. Games conjure up opportunities to reflect on life.
Games have a future as powerful staple teaching tools. Games show that no one is incapable in life.
Games are what I want to be a part of.


FEATURED
Slash Dash Samurai takes the swipe and makes it the central focus in a high-action endless runner, where free-angle swipes propel the player through enemies. This first game created with SkyCanvas Games focuses on rewarding skillful play.

MY WORK
SLASH DASH SAMURAI
SIZE MATTERS
Placing 1st in the Great Canadian Appathon 2014, this lighthearted endless-runner revolves around a size changing mechanic that allows navigation around and through obstacles. It ended up winning $25,000, and mentorship from XMG Studio for further development.
